IMO and MED certified solutions

Selected fabrics meet applicable requirements of the IMO FTP Code and the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) for interior textile applications. Certification is available according to the specific fabric and its intended marine application.

Fabrics for marine interiors

Our marine range includes sheers, curtains, dimouts and blackouts, providing different levels of privacy, light control and decorative character for marine interior environments. Each solution combines textile design with the specific technical requirements of the selected product.

More than flame-retardant performance

Selected IMO-certified fabrics also combine acoustic, thermal and light-control properties. This multifunctionality allows designers and specifiers to address several performance requirements through a single textile solution.

Acoustic and thermal comfort at sea

Textiles can contribute to the comfort of marine interiors beyond their decorative function. Selected fabrics provide tested acoustic absorption or solar-control performance, helping integrate comfort, safety and design within cabins, suites, lounges and other interior spaces.

Design for demanding marine projects

Marine interiors require materials capable of combining regulatory requirements with aesthetics and functionality. Aznar Textil offers technical fabrics in different designs, textures, colours and widths, allowing certified performance to be incorporated into contemporary marine interior concepts.
