Vichy

From the French word Vichy or the English word Gingham, it is the name given to certain lightweight fabrics with solid and brightly coloured yarns that form simple checked patterns.

It is a fabric woven using a plain weave. This effect can also be achieved through printing processes.

It is generally used in baby décor, romantic-style decoration, and tablecloths.
