At Aznar Textil, we were pioneers more than 15 years ago in launching to the home décor and textile market a line of fabrics made from recycled yarn and certified under the Global Recycled Standard, one of the most recognized international certifications in textile sustainability.
What is the Global Recycled Standard?
The Global Recycled Standard is a voluntary standard promoted by Textile Exchange that verifies the recycled material content in textile products and ensures that the entire supply chain complies with strict environmental, social, and chemical criteria. The goal of the GRS is to encourage the use of recycled materials, ensure full product traceability, and promote responsible processes for the environment and for the people involved in production.
What does this certification guarantee in our fabrics?
Verified recycled content: Our certified fabrics contain a verified percentage of recycled fibers such as cotton, polyester, or linen.
Responsible production: We control the use of hazardous chemicals and apply safe processes for both the environment and workers.
