Damask
An elegant, decorative fabric characterised by patterns (usually floral or geometric) formed by the interlacing of the threads themselves, rather than by printing.

It is usually reversible and features a subtle contrast between sheen and a matt finish, thanks to the use of weaves such as satin or satin weave.

Strongly associated with classic and sophisticated settings, it is used in upholstery, curtains, table linen and high-quality bed linen.
